What If My Assistant Works More Than 40 Hours Some Weeks?

However, if your assistant consistently works more than 40 hours a week or exceeds 160 hours a month (which translates to 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday), we strongly recommend bringing on an additional assistant. Yes, your contract stipulates that your assistant is entitled to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year. This allows your assistant to spend time with family locally while also staying in sync with your business’s holiday schedule. • Personal Events: The remaining 10 days of PTO are reserved for personal events, occasional sick leave, or other personal matters. If your assistant needs to take leave for a personal event, they will first seek approval from us. This process ensures that each type of leave complies with the corresponding qualifications, conditions, and limitations. Once approved by us, your assistant will then request your approval for the leave. During any paid time off, your monthly payment will remain unchanged. If your assistant requires extended leave beyond the allotted PTO, we will coordinate all necessary training, shadow sessions, and meetings to ensure that your workflow continues without disruption. We will also match you with another assistant during the assistant’s absence to maintain continuity.
Can I Require My Assistant to Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?
Yes, your assistant can sign a company NDA. In addition to this, all of our assistants sign a contract with Grow Remotely that covers client confidentiality. They are also open to signing any additional NDAs or intellectual property (IP) agreements that you require directly.
